THE USEFUL DETAILS

Keep the useful context close.

Bring your information within reach

Ask about work in connected apps, with access governed by each connection’s permissions.

Work across your choice of models

Connected app tools are available across supported chat providers, so changing models doesn’t mean starting the connection again.

Keep access intentional

Review the available connections and permissions. Disconnect an app when you no longer want Portal to reach it.

A FEW POSSIBILITIES

For work that already lives somewhere else.

Find the note you need

Ask for a relevant page from Notion and work with it in the conversation.

Make sense of your day

Check events from a connected Google Calendar without leaving the question you’re working on.

Bring a project into the chat

Work with supported actions in GitHub, Linear, Canva or tools connected through Zapier.

FROM IDEA TO EVERYDAY

A simple place to start.

  1. Choose an available app

Open Apps and pick the connection that fits what you want to do.

  2. Connect and review access

Follow its sign-in or token setup and check the permissions it asks for.

  3. Ask about your work

Mention what you need in your chat. Portal can use the tools your connection makes available.

GOOD TO KNOW

Before you get going.

Plans & top-ups
Can every app do the same things?

No. Available information and actions depend on the app, its permissions and your connected account. Some connections are read-only.

Does connecting an app cost credits?

Connecting an app is free in Portal. Requests that use it consume model and tool credits, and the connected service may have its own plan or charges.

Bring a little more of your work together.
